nglccNY Business of the Month: The Bubble Collection

This November, nglccNY  is proud to spotlight The Bubble Collection as our next featured Biz of the Month! We spoke with co-founder Gregory Cole (he/him) to learn more about The Bubble Collection's products, his entrepreneurial journey, and experience running a queer-owned business. Read the full Q&A below!

Q: What is unique about your business?
A: The Bubble Collection is unique because we are a direct-to-consumer brand. Our consumers are first introduced to our collection by ordering a Discovery Set of six 2ml samples on our website and they get a 20% discount towards the purchase of a full-size 50ml bottle of their choice. All of our scents are unisex, vegan, free of parabens and phthalates, and are certified cruelty-free by PETA and Leaping Bunny. We are also proud that our fragrances are made in the USA with the majority of the production taking place in the NYC metro area.

Q: What does it mean to you to be an LGBTQ+ entrepreneur?
A: We have always been proud members of the LGBTQ+ community and it is important for us that The Bubble Collection be marketed as a brand launched by gay men. As a niche fragrance brand, the stories of the founders is important to our potential customers, and the fact that we are members of the LGBTQ+ community always takes prime importance in our brand messaging.

Q: How has being a Certified LGBTBE® impacted your business? Why did you join nglccNY?
A: It has helped connect us with a network of LGBT business owners who have been supportive of The Bubble Collection. The help and advice we have received from members of nglccNY has been immeasurable and we are grateful.

Q: What is your favorite part about the nglccNY community?
A: Meeting fellow business owners in the LGBT community and learning about their stories as well as their dreams and aspirations, and discussing how we can help each other achieve our goals.
