Non-Profit Spotlight: Bailey House

Bailey House was created to help homeless men affected by HIV/AIDS. The organization which started to help a few has expanded since 1983 to help men, women and children. Today Bailey House serves approximately 2000 individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses. The services provided by Bailey House address survival issues and challenges facing the clients they serve; not limited to but including homelessness, poverty, hunger, substance abuse and mental health issues to name a few. At the end of 2016 Bailey House was dealt an indelible blow that shook the organization to its core – the loss of their fearless leader Gina Quattrochi to cancer. Ms. Quattrochi was well known as she led the charge for 25 years and changed the way in which public policy makers viewed HIV/AIDS risk and prevention. She challenged conventional thinking to become actionable and beneficial to the clients Bailey House serves.  Click here to read more about the extraordinary work and legacy
