How to Do Business with the NYC Department of Education!

The NYC Department of Education’s (DOE)  invites all NGLCCNY Members to its  next “How to Do Business with the DOE” presentation will be held with the Brooklyn Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on Friday, September 25, 2015.  The presentation will be held at NYC College of Technology-Howard Building, located at 25 Chapel Street, Room 411, Brooklyn, New York 11201. The event will be from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. To register, please contact SBDC@citytech.cuny.edu . MWBEs and all other prospective vendors are invited to attend. A summary of the DOE’s current solicitations can be viewed online at the following links:  Request for Proposals ,  Request for Bids , and  Multiple Task Award Contract . The children of Bailey House need your help! For the first time in a decade, the corporate partner that has provided backpacks filled with school supplies for Bailey House kids is unable to do so. Each of the children (ages 4-18) in the organization’s housing program, headquartered in East Harlem, lives in a household affected by HIV/AIDS.
