Celebrate LGBT at NYBG with Orchid Evenings at The New York Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden is a proud member of the NGLCCNY. This past year, NYBG launched LGBT @ NYBG, which is a series of events held in conjunction with the Garden's year-round programming to celebrate the LGBT community and its allies. Join NYBG for LGBT @ NYBG Orchid Evening on March 19, 2015 for a special evening of The Orchid Show: Chandeliers.

This year’s Orchid Show is a breathtaking presentation spotlighting the aerial beauty of this iconic flower through hanging baskets, colorful living columns, and the centerpiece: a huge star-shaped chandelier overflowing with hundreds of plants. Enjoy it all after-dark with a cocktail, live music, and friends for a perfect night out. Save the date for our summer LGBT @ NYBG event during the exhibition, FRIDA KAHLO: Art, Garden, Life on June 25.

NYBG will be hosting this month's Members' Monthly Mixer (M3) 6:00PM - 7:30PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Following the M3, members are encouraged to join the The Orchid Show (event actual time is 6:30PM - 9:00PM) and enjoy the festivities.
