The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of DisabilityEmployment Policy welcomes your feedback on a comprehensive strategy under development to engage employers to increase workplace opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The strategy, developed in collaboration with management and marketing experts from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, incorporates new research and behavioral insights to develop practices aimed at tapping the skills and talents of people with disabilities.
Representatives of Diversity marketing and Communications (developing the strategy under contract to DOL) will provide an overview at the roundtable discussion at Poppin on Wednesday, July 16 from 5:00-5:45pm. Located at 1115 Broadway (@ 25th Street), 3rd Floor.
You will have the opportunity to provide comments on the forthcoming strategy, and exchange best practices with other professionals on the recruiting, hiring, and retention of people with disabilities. Prior knowledge is not required.
