GMHC Prepares for SAVOR, Famed Annual Gastronomic Fundraiser

NGLCCNY Non-Profit Community Partner Gay Men's Health Crisis will present its sixth annual culinary gala, SAVOR , on Thursday, March 21, 2013.  The annual dinner attracts a large crowd of philanthropists and notables. Joy Tomchin, nationally recognized activist in the LGBT, women’s and children’s rights movements. This year GMHC will present Judith Peabody Humanitarian Awards to The Keith Haring Foundation and to Joy Tomchin, an activist and the Executive Producer of  How to Survive a Plague . The award acknowledges Joy's and the Keith Haring Foundation's participation with GMHC - and by extension, the difference the two have made across the LGBT and HIV/AIDS communities.
