August 16, 2011: 12:00pm to 1:00pm Receiving a Request for Proposal (RFP) from a major corporation is not easy; answering them is even more difficult. They can be large and complex, and ask for a lot of specific information that you may not know how to answer. It can be a daunting challenge to the inexperienced. This hour-long videoconference will feature a panel of other LGBTBE certified members who have been through the process and can offer advice and insights. This event is a must attend for any business seeking to do business with large corporations, especially if you are unfamiliar with the RFP process. As a lunch-hour video conference, you can attend without having to leave your office. Participation details to follow.

The NGLCC is proud to announce our upcoming US Department of Commerce certified trade mission to Columbia, October 17 – 23, 2011. On Thursday July 28, 2011 there will be a conference call for our member businesses and affiliates to learn about the opportunities and programs that we will have access to. Please see the attached flyer and inform your members of this call. I recommend making an additional personal outreach to any of your local member businesses that you think might benefit from learning about these opportunities.
