February's Non-Profit Spotlight: The Imperial Court of New York

Once a year the New York LGBT community comes together for a unique gala fundraiser—one that rises above all others for over-the-top glamour and fun. That event is The Imperial Court of New York’s Night of a Thousand Gowns, a black tie dinner dance and coronation ball.

The Imperial Court ofNew York (ICNY), the state's most regal organization serving the LGBT community and people living with HIV/AIDS since 1986, will host its 29th annual Night of A Thousand Gowns. The ball will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on Saturday, April 11,  2015, and is presented by the ICNY membership and Their Most Imperial Sovereign Majesties Emperor XXIII Tony Monteleone and Empress XXVIII Twinkle Montgomery.

The 29th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns will be more than just a dazzling display of regal glamour; it will be an opportunity to celebrate the LGBT community. This year’s event will host close to 1,000 attendees and raise money for our beneficiaries.

We are proud to announce this year's event will benefit The National Gay & LesbianTask Force, the country’s oldest national LGBTQ advocacy group and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center who has been supporting, fostering and celebrating the LGBT community of New York City since 1983. Night of a Thousand Gowns presents a unique opportunity to reach an affluent audience of LGBTs and straight allies. Opportunities range from advertising in the printed program and/or digital dinner journal; silent auction donations; or underwriting an aspect of the ball.
