Young Leaders to be Honored at Annual Live Out Loud Gala

Come out and support Live Out Loud's mission to connect LGBTQ youth with role models at the 12th Annual Young Trailblazers Gala!

On April 30 at the TimesCenter, 242 W 41st Street at 8th Avenue, Live Out Loud will honor actor and playwright Charles Busch, filmmaker David France, and New York’s first openly gay Congressman, U.S. Representative Sean Patrick Maloney, for inspiring leadership in the LGBT community.

The evening will be hosted by special guest Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters!

Live Out Loud will also award five college scholarships of $5,000 to LGBT high school seniors who exhibit remarkable leadership in their communities.

Hailed as “a testament to brave LGBT youth” by Time Out New York magazine, Live Out Loud is a non-profit dedicated to connecting LGBT youth with role models and leaders in the LGBT community. In addition to presenting programs, workshops, and panels at metropolitan area high schools and colleges, Live Out Loud operates The Homecoming Project, a grassroots initiative that brings successful gay adults back to their high schools to share their stories with today’s students.
