NGLCCNY is proud to welcome THE OUT NYC as its newest Copper Corporate Partner. THE OUT NYC, which is centrally located in Manhattan’s heart of Hell’s Kitchen on the west side of 42nd Street, is New York City’s first “straight-friendly” urban resort. As many of us know, THE OUT NYC is home to the revitalized XL Nightclub. The property as a whole is much more than just a hotel, offering luxury accommodations, a 5,000 square foot spa, fitness, nightlife, dining and various corporate services from catered events, to business luncheons. THE OUT NYC has already become a vital part of the LGBT community.
In addition to contributing extensively to the community to such organizations as amfAR and the Trevor Project, to name just a few, THE OUT NYC has developed a cultural program whereby it offers monthly salons for various artists to prominently display their works in the lobby gallery of the hotel. Similarly, THE OUT NYC organizes art openings, providing full service gallery capabilities to local and international artists alike. “We are particularly proud of this special cultural program. THE OUT has a strong appreciation for the arts, and we are thrilled that we can provide a venue for artists to show and collaborate,” says David Lopez, General Manager of THE OUT. Currently featured in THE OUT’s lobby gallery are works by Brooklyn’s Dennis McNett.
THE OUT NYC is especially excited to partner with NGLCCNY and is looking forward to working with Chamber members. “Given the vast array of services that THE OUT NYC offers, we are always looking to partner with a wide variety of suppliers, especially for events held at any of our spaces”, explains Mr. Lopez. THE OUT NYC offers exceptional and unique spaces for events of all kinds, including weddings, corporate meetings, and fashion events. Therefore, NGLCCNY members involved with event planning, weddings, flowers, etc., are all encouraged to contact THE OUT NYC’s Executive Assistant, Tomás Rodgers at Tomasr@theoutnyc.com.
Chamber members are encouraged to stop by THE OUT, enjoy the featured works of art, ask for a tour of its great event and meeting spaces, and enjoy all the luxuries that The Spa has to offer. For those interested, open annual memberships for The Spa, which includes use of the fitness area, steam room, sauna, and hot tub, are available at a discounted rate through March 2013.
