Certified Businesses on Exhibition

On Thursday, October 25, certified LGBT Business Enterprise owners have a premium opportunity to exhibit their business at the all new Superstar Connection Center. Exhibitors will meet
face-to-face with
 Supplier Diversity,
Procurement, Line
 Buyer, Diversity &
Inclusion and ERG teams in this afternoon Supplier Diversity event.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our certified LGBT Business Enterprises,” said David Ricciardi, NGLCCNY Supplier Diversity Committee Chair and owner of Proximo Consulting Services. “We’ve had strong positive feedback on this program and we’re excited to show off our suppliers for corporations who actively source LGBT businesses.”

Thirty certified businesses and fifteen corporations are expected to participate in the Superstar Connection Center, which is a part of the Chamber’s annual Shining Stars day of events. The program starts at 1 p.m. with a keynote speaker, and then the Superstar Connection Center opens. The afternoon is followed by the private Connection Reception cocktail hour for certified businesses and corporate partners. Finally the day concludes with the Shining Stars Awards at The Box where two NGLCCNY members will be honored with the first-ever Shining Stars Awards for their leadership and contributions to the Chamber.

“NGLCCNY is dedicated to connecting our certified Business Enterprises with Corporate Partners,” said Chamber President Richard Oceguera. “We’re committed to expanding the economic prosperity of the LGBT business community and programs like the Superstar Connection Center and the Shining Stars Awards are exciting gateways to this mission.”

Certified LGBT Business Enterprise owners and corporate representatives can confirm their participation by contacting Supplier Diversity Chair David Ricciardi at david@nglccny.org.

Stakeholder opportunities are still available for small businesses and corporations. Contact Chamber President Richard Oceguera at Richard@nglccny.org for details on sponsorship.
