Special Event Hosted by MetLife: Economic Impact of Marriage Equality

MetLife invites you to an engaging panel discussion focused on exploring the economic impact of marriage equality on June 27 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium on the 23rd floor at MetLife's offices at 1095 Avenue of the Americas.

With a recently issued report by the New York state senate Independent Democratic Conference indicating that marriage equality could generate at least $391 million for the state withinthree years of becoming law, the dialogue continues to unfold about the potential economic impact that could accompany same-sex marriage. The discussion will provide diverse perspectives on this topic’s potentially far-reaching impact on the public sector, private sector, small businesses and LGBT individuals and couples.
